Saddle Riders

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 8 September 2026

1. Who we are

Saddle Riders is operated by WLF Tech ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@wlf-tech.com.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. They apply every time you use the Saddle Riders app. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

2. What Saddle Riders is, and what it is not

Saddle Riders is a booking platform. We introduce riders to riding stables and to the coaches who teach at them, and we take the booking.

We do not teach, and we do not own horses or arenas. The lesson itself is provided by the stable or by the coach you booked, at their premises, with their horses and their staff. They decide what is taught, which horse you ride, and whether a lesson can go ahead safely. Their own rules apply while you are on their property.

That distinction matters for what follows: our responsibility is the booking and the payment we take for it, and the stable's or coach's responsibility is the lesson.

3. Your account

You need an account to book. You must be at least 18 years old to hold one. A parent or guardian may book for a child on their own account, and is responsible for that booking and for the child at the stable.

When you sign up you choose whether you are a rider, a coach or a stable owner. That choice sets what the app lets you do and does not change afterwards.

Please keep your details accurate and your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at info@wlf-tech.com if you think somebody else has access to it.

4. Booking a lesson

You pick a lesson package, a coach and a time. The price is the coach's hourly rate for the length of the lesson, and it is shown in full before you pay. For a group lesson the price is the per-rider rate multiplied by the seats you book.

A booking is confirmed when your payment is confirmed, not when you tap. Until then the slot is held for you for a short time and then released.

We show the prices, availability and descriptions that stables and coaches give us. We do not independently verify them.

5. What you pay, and to whom

You pay 10% of the lesson price online when you book. That amount is our booking fee, and it is what we charge for running the platform.

You pay the rest in cash, at the stable, to your coach. We never handle that part and we are not party to it. If you do not turn up with it, the coach may refuse the lesson.

Prices are in Egyptian pounds. The split is shown to you on the review screen before you confirm, and again in your booking details.

Card payments are handled by Paymob, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on Paymob's own page and never reach us or our systems.

6. Cancelling, and what you get back

You have a free cancellation window that starts when you book. It lasts for a quarter of the time between booking and the start of your lesson, up to a maximum of 18 hours. Book three weeks ahead and you have 18 hours to change your mind; book two hours ahead and you have half an hour.

The exact deadline is calculated when you book, written on your booking, and shown to you in plain words on the review screen and in My Rides. It does not move afterwards.

7. Not turning up, and being turned away

If you do not arrive for a lesson you booked, the coach can record it as a no-show. It is treated the same as cancelling after the window: the fee is not returned, and most of it goes to the stable.

A coach may also decline to teach you on the day โ€” if you arrive unfit to ride, under the influence, without suitable footwear, or if in their judgement it is not safe. That is their call to make and we will not overrule it. Where it happens, the fee is treated as a late cancellation unless you raise it with us and we decide otherwise.

If you think a decision was wrong, write to info@wlf-tech.com and we will look at it.

8. Riding is a physical activity, and it carries risk

Horse riding can cause serious injury. You take part at your own risk.

By booking through Saddle Riders you confirm that:

Check whether the stable's insurance covers you, and consider your own. We do not insure you.

9. Reviews and what you write

You can review a stable or a coach after a lesson you actually took. Write honestly and about your own experience.

Do not post anything false, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or personal about somebody else. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post. We can remove a review that breaks this and, if it keeps happening, close the account behind it.

What you write stays yours. By posting it you give us permission to show it in the app and to keep showing it, including after you delete your account, as part of a stable's or coach's public record.

The same applies to messages you send through the app: keep them about the booking, and be civil.

10. If you are a coach or a stable owner

A separate set of obligations applies to you:

Compensation for late cancellations and no-shows accrues in the app and is paid out by bank transfer. It is not paid instantly.

11. Things you may not do

Do not use Saddle Riders to break the law. Beyond that: no fake accounts, no booking on somebody else's card, no scraping, no attempts to get at parts of the system that are not yours, no arranging around the platform a booking that started on it, and no interfering with how the app works.

12. Suspending or closing an account

You can close your account from the app at any time. Bookings you have already made stand, and so do the payment terms above.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or that puts other people at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to answer.

13. What we are responsible for

We are responsible for running the platform with reasonable care, for taking your booking correctly, and for handling the fee you pay us as described above.

We are not responsible for the lesson itself, for the conduct of a stable, a coach or another rider, for injury or loss at a stable, or for the accuracy of what a partner publishes about themselves.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you for anything connected with a booking is limited to the booking fee you paid us for it.

14. Changes

We may change these terms โ€” for a new feature, a change in the law, or a change in how the platform works. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using Saddle Riders after that means you accept it.

Bookings already made are governed by the terms and the rates that were in force when you made them.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Please write to us first at info@wlf-tech.com. Most things are quicker to fix that way.
